Iunius Congus, historian, jurist and antiquarian of the late second/early first century BC, admired by Lucilius (593 Krenkel) and referred to by Cicero as a man of great learning. He has usually been identified with M. Iunius Gracchanus (‘the Gracchan’), who wrote a treatise De Potestatibus and perhaps also some Commentarii.Subjects
