A minor Daunian settlement in northern Apulia, between *Teanum Apulum and *Sipontum. It was a station on the *via Traiana, and has been tentatively identified with Il Cassone, a site 6 km. (3 ¾ mi.) south-east of S. Severo, which had a *centuriation system based on 16-actus squares.
