Word from Oxford

I am excited to serve as the commissioning editor for this innovative publication, which aims to support the research needs of students and faculty around the globe. The OUP editorial team and I have been working closely with Oliver Braddick, Editor in Chief of the ORE of Psychology, and with our editorial and advisory boards, to create an in-depth, encyclopedic map of the field.

With new articles each month, this updatable encyclopedia will grow with the field over time, covering a range of disciplines within the field of psychology. Multi-media features embedded in the articles, along with cross-referenced links to related content, will further expand the scope of the publication. With long-form peer-reviewed articles and broad coverage of the field we hope the Oxford Research Encyclopedia (ORE) of Psychology will be a valuable resource for students, scientists, practitioners, and teachers.

Please consider getting involved. Your ORE contribution can become a foundational article in your field. The OUP editorial team and I look forward to working with our authors, board members, and community of readers, to shape this publication into an indispensable research tool for years to come.
