Word from Oxford

I am excited to serve as the commissioning editor for this innovative new publication, which will aim for comprehensive, global coverage of the field of public health and its multi-faceted applications. I will be working with David McQueen, the Editor in Chief of the project, as well as with the forthcoming editorial and advisory boards, to create a detailed, encyclopedic map of this growing discipline.

Over time, the Oxford Research Encyclopedia (ORE) of Public Health will be an authoritative, updatable digital encyclopedia which will grow with the field. Multi-media features embedded in the articles, along with cross-referenced links to related content, will further expand the scope of the publication. With in-depth peer-reviewed articles and broad coverage, we hope the ORE of Global Public Health will be a valuable resource for students, scientists, practitioners, and teachers. Please consider getting involved. Your ORE contribution can become a foundational article in your field!
