Word from Oxford
Welcome to the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Religion, an ambitious reference project that brings together scholars from around the globe to explore the practice, philosophy, influence, and lived experience of religion. You can find more information on our board of editors here, along with a basic outline of the ORE initiative here.
The ORE of Religion has grown to include over 600 in-depth articles. The project continues to evolve, with new entries appearing every month, ranging from Buddhism in Mongolia to Protestantism in Latin America.
For more related content, we recommend visiting the OUP Blog, where several of our affiliated authors have expanded on their work in brief, reader-friendly pieces about religion.
Finally, and perhaps most important, we welcome your feedback. And if you are a scholar, please consider getting involved.
We look forward to working with you!
