Rosemary Sarri was a pathbreaking researcher and exceptional mentor during an illustrious career at the University of Michigan. Her work on services to females in the juvenile justice and adult corrections systems established the need for new policies and procedures—including lasting federal legislation (the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act).
