Philon designed the arsenal at *Piraeus, and added a porch to the Telesterion at Eleusis. The former building, one of the most admired in antiquity (Plin. HN 7. 37. 135), was destroyed by *Sulla. Vestiges of it were identified in 1988–89, and we also possess the inscribed specification (IG 22.
